GoodWeave Adds Six Rug Companies

Six more U.S. rug companies have joined GoodWeave to commit to a child-labor-free supply chain for production of their products, certifying their rugs as ethically made.

GoodWeave joins other Best-in-Class Organizations as ISEAL Full Member

GoodWeave has successfully completed the process for becoming an ISEAL full member, demonstrating full compliance with ISEAL's Codes of Good Practice. GoodWeave works to end child labor in the carpet industry and to offer educational opportunities to children in weaving communities; no other organization or label in the rug industry uses stricter standards for developing and implementing its certification.

Ariana Rugs, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, has joined the GoodWeave® certification program, marking an international milestone as the first importer of Afghanistan rugs with a supply chain that is certified child-labor-free.
