Eleventh Annual GoodWeave® Rug Raffle Features the Milton Glaser for Lapchi Collection’s “Fruits of Labor” Carpet

GoodWeave USA has launched its 11th annual rug raffle, featuring a limited edition, child-labor-free certified carpet designed by world-renowned graphic artist Milton Glaser. For as little as $25, entrants have a chance to win the hand knotted, silk and wool "Fruits of Labor," donated by GoodWeave member company Lapchi LLC. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit's programs to end child labor in the rug industry and provide educational opportunities to children in the weaving communities of Nepal, India and Afghanistan.

Custom Cool Launches Second Annual Rug Raffle Benefitting GoodWeave

Custom Cool, a member of GoodWeave's child-labor-free certification program, has launched its second annual rug raffle, featuring "Summer Ikat." For as little as $25, entrants have a chance to win the GoodWeave certified 8' x 10' wool, nettle and silk rug. Hand knotted in Nepal and retailing over $7,000.

Milton Glaser’s Certified Lapchi Collection Debuts at Santa Monica Museum of Art

On March 22, Lapchi’s Milton Glaser Collection, certified child-labor-free by GoodWeave, will launch at a special exhibition at the Santa Monica Museum of Art (SMMoA) entitled Milton Glaser for Lapchi: An Exploration of Pattern Making and Color Effects in Textiles, in conjunction with West Week.
