Delinear Inc. is a San Francisco-based manufacturer of modern hand-knotted rugs. Chris Baisa, the company’s founder, launched his rug division after 15 years of successful home furnishing design. To align production standards in Nepal with his personal values, Chris joined RugMark as a way to ensure that no child labor was used in the production of his fine designs. More >

Alicia Keshishian Carpets of Imagination rugs can now be found at Eco-terric, a new green showroom in San Francisco. One of Alicia’s carpets was featured in the spring market tabloid of Interior Design.
Amy Helfand introduced three new rugs at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair and Brooklyn Designs in May. Ragged Wandering, Pokeweed Encounter and Mt. Rogers Protest are part her continuing exploration of landscape of the Appalachian Trail. Recently, Amy’s work has been featured in Hali Modern Carpet, New York Spaces, Interior Design and House and Garden magazines.
Angela Adams will introduce three new rug designs at the upcoming Atlanta Gift + Home Furnishings show in July, Kelly, Birch and Ocean. Angela Adams has recently been featured in O, the Oprah Magazine, Hamptons Cottages and Gardens, HFN, Vurb and Interior Design Magazine.
Barbara Jacobs Color and Design has launched Silk Road Weaves, a new line of hand knotted Tibetan area rugs. Barbara recently introduced these new Rugmark-made rugs at an event sponsored by the New England Chapter of ASID.
Company C’s fall 2007 Collection hits retail stores in July. Representatives of Company C will display their wares this summer at the Las Vegas World Market and New York International Gift Fair. Recent editorial coverage of the company includes articles in Decorating Magazine, Inspired Magazine, New York Spaces, Canadian House & Home, Country Home, California Home & Design and Furniture Style.

Emma Gardner Design’s hospitality division has created custom rugs for three luxury resorts: The Winvian Resorts in Morris, Connecticut, the Hyatt Valencia and Santa Clarita Conference Center in Valencia, California and the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California. Emma unveiled two new designs to her collection at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in May: Color Slick, a hand-knotted silk and wool rug and Chinese River, a hand-tufted design blending bold color and stylized Asian-inspired elements.
Joan Weissman’s Ginko and Bayahibe rugs were recently featured in the Spring Market Tabloid issue of Interior Design magazine. In addition, Joan mentioned RugMark in her keynote address at the Fair Trade Gala in Albuquerque, NM.
Judy Ross Textiles will introduce her new rug designs for fall 2007 at the International Gift Show later this summer.
Linda Garriott of Linda Garriott Design, LLC was recently featured in HGTV's Spring 2007 magazine.
Liza Phillips Design opened a new showroom, Les Migrateurs, at the New York Design Center. Her work has been featured recently in Lifestyle Magazine, InteriorDesign.net, New Products and Contract Magazine. This spring, Liza introduced the Black Sheep Collection, a new line of hand tufted runners and stair treads.
In addition to supporting educational programs for former child weavers through their RugMark membership, Nying Zemo donates 2 percent of the profit from each custom-made Tibetan rug they sell to protect Nepali women from human trafficking, child prostitution and child abuse.
Sloan Miyasato has enhanced their web site. The redesigned site includes new links to all the floor covering lines they represent.
